We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our growing engineering team.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers in an agile environment to ensure our software meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to both manual and automated testing initiatives while helping us continuously improve our quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyse business and technical requirements/user stories
  • Design, develop, and maintain detailed test documentation
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
  • Contribute to automation test development and maintenance
  • Execute API and database validation testing
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
  • Perform root cause analysis and work with developers to resolve issues
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate across teams to improve test coverage and release quality
  • Support CI/CD quality gates and release validation activities

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1+ years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
  • Experience with manual testing and exposure to automation
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
  • Experience using defect tracking tools
  • Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Playwright)
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Karate)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Test Management Tools
