Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an IT Assistant based in Colombo. The IT Assistant will provide technical support to staff and students, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist in managing printers and other IT equipment, and contribute to maintaining the IT infrastructure. The role also includes the responsibility of monitoring and improving IT systems to ensure smooth operations and prompt issue resolution.
Qualification
- HND or Diploma in IT
- Proficiency in Technical Support and general Information Technology practices
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess and resolve technical issues effectively
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and network maintenance is an advantage
- Ability to communicate clearly and support non-technical users
- Relevant certifications or a diploma in Information Technology or a related field
- Experience in an educational or institutional environment is a plus
