The Opportunity
We are currently on the lookout for an UI/UX Engineer who can think creatively and has an artistic eye for design.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with or carrying out a variety of design tasks which will primarily include the design of UI mockups.
• Working on converting specific UI designs to code
o Must be able to work with existing design systems and project styling libraries.
• Carrying out cross-browser and device UI development and design
• Analyzing the user experience by evaluating business requirements/designs and providing feedback to come up with optimal UX solutions.
• Working closely with members of Product and Design teams to translate concepts into prototypes and assisting engineering teams with the final implementation.
Requirements:
• A design portfolio (preferably on Behance or dribbble) with any design work carried out independently or any legally shareable work from current/past employment, including any type of design work (UI, Paintings /drawings, sketches, Video, 3D, crafts, etc.).
• A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Expert level knowledge of HTML5/CSS3.
• Experience working with CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS)
• A solid knowledge of responsive layout development with cross-browser support
• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like React is an added advantage.
• Expert level of knowledge in design fundamentals and UX
• A passion for driving and enhancing user experiences
•An understanding of the latest design trends and their usages
