Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. As the Lead Support Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and providing advanced technical support to a team of three IT Support Engineers. The role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues while ensuring SLAs are met and high standards of customer service are maintained. Responsibilities include overseeing end-user support, hardware and software maintenance, and network-related issues. You will also act as the primary point of escalation for complex technical problems and support IT projects as required to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of IT Support Engineers, ensuring SLA compliance and high service standards.
  • Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, network, and security systems.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex IT issues.
  • Support and maintain network infrastructure, Active Directory, and IT assets.
  • Oversee CCTV systems, vehicle tracking devices, and mobile device management.
  • Support IT projects, documentation, and process improvements.


Qualifications

  • Degree in IT / Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in IT support (end-user support, networking, hardware).
  • Prior team leadership experience is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, macOS, Android & iOS.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ / CCNA will be an added advantage.
  • A customer-focused mindset with strong communication and leadership skills.
