Protonest is looking for a motivated Electronics Engineering Intern to support the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware for IoT devices. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world electronics engineering, including schematic design, PCB development, hardware testing, and system-level integration with firmware and mechanical teams. It is ideal for undergraduates or recent graduates seeking practical experience in IoT product development.
What You'll Be Doing
• Assist in designing and reviewing electronic circuits for IoT products
• Support schematic capture and basic PCB layout tasks under supervision
• Assist with component selection and BOM preparation
• Support hardware assembly, board bring-up, and functional testing
• Assist in debugging using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
• Support power, sensor, and communication module integration
• Help document schematics, test results, and design revisions
• Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams for system integration
• Maintain organized hardware documentation and revision records
• Participate in technical reviews, testing sessions, and learning activities
What We're Looking For
• Undergraduate or recently completed degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Basic understanding of analog and digital electronics
• Familiarity with electronic components (MCUs, sensors, power circuits)
• Interest in embedded systems, IoT devices, and hardware development
• Willingness to learn and follow engineering best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
