We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join an active mobile development initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development experience, a solid understanding of Android architecture principles, and the ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop robust, maintainable, and scalable Android applications based on defined requirements.
- Collaborate with product owners, backend teams, QA engineers, and designers to deliver end-to-end features.
- Ensure adherence to Android best practices, coding standards, and architecture guidelines.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Review and optimize application performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.
- Support production releases and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
- Effectively utilize AI tooling for engineering quality and productivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of professional Android development experience (SSE and above).
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin (experience with Java is an added advantage).
- Solid experience with Android SDK and modern architecture components.
- Strong understanding of MVVM, clean architecture principles and dependency injection and effective use of unit tests.
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Hands-on experience with Git version control.
- Experience publishing applications to Google Play Store.
