Job summary
As a Business Analyst in our company, you will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing software development projects. You will work under the guidance of experienced project managers and contribute to the successful delivery of projects within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role is designed to provide you with practical experience in project management and help you develop the skills necessary for a career in project management.
Responsibilities
1. Assist in creating project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and document project specifications.
3. Contribute to the development of project schedules, resource allocation, and risk management plans.
4. Support the execution of project activities, ensuring they are carried out as per the project plan.
5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of project tasks.
6. Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report on project status to stakeholders.
7. Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and clients.
8. Assist in managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring their involvement throughout the project lifecycle.
9. Help organize and facilitate project meetings, including agenda creation and meeting minutes.
10. Assist in maintaining project documentation, including project charters, plans, status reports, and change requests.
11. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress to stakeholders.
12. Contribute to project closure activities, such as lessons learned documentation and project evaluation. 13. Support quality assurance activities, ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards.
14. Assist in conducting quality reviews, analyzing project outputs, and identifying areas for improvement. 15. Collaborate with the QA team to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
16. Assist in identifying, assessing, and managing project risks.
17. Contribute to the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
18. Monitor and control project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
19. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, designers, and business analysts.
20. Support team members, provide assistance, and foster a collaborative work environment.
21. Demonstrate leadership potential and actively contribute to project team discussions and decision-making.
22. Actively participate in training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities to enhance project management skills.
23. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in project management.
24. Seek feedback from project managers and stakeholders to continuously improve performance.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
2. 1-2 Years experience in a similar capacity.
3. Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
4. Strong organizational and time management skills.
5. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborative environment.
9. Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in a project management role.
10. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
