We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Business Process Automation team. As a Enterprise Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and testing automated business processes using industry-standard tools. This is a great opportunity to apply your development skills in real-world business automation scenarios and collaborate with experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing and documenting existing business processes to identify automation opportunities.
- Support the development, testing, and deployment of automation workflows using tools such as RPA, BPM, or Low-Code platforms.
- Work with Java or C# code in back-end services or integrations as part of automation solutions.
- Prepare documentation including process diagrams, test cases, and technical specs.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and production rollout support.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and provide input for improving automation performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java or C# is required.
- Experience with back-end or integration projects, especially as a freelancer, is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Power Automate, IBM BPM/BAW, or other automation platforms is a plus.
- Exposure to REST APIs, JSON, XML, BPMN or database queries (SQL) is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Must be available to work onsite full-time in Sri Lanka.
