We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python and data pipeline development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and architectures that support business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Develop data pipelines and backend data processing applications using Python
- Integrate multiple data sources (APIs, databases, files)
- Implement data transformations, formulas, and business rules
- Perform data mapping, validation, and cleansing
- Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and data validation frameworks to ensure pipeline reliability and data integrity
- Load processed data into operational databases or data warehouses
- Build scheduled jobs, logging, and monitoring for reliable processing
- Support lightweight API / integration services using Node.js / TypeScript
- Strong experience in Python (Pandas / FastAPI or similar)
- Strong SQL and database knowledge
- Experience building ETL / data processing pipelines
- Experience integrating REST APIs and file-based data ingestion
- Working knowledge of Node.js / TypeScript (NestJS is a plus)
- Exposure to Airflow / Prefect / Cron, Docker, and cloud platforms
- 4+ years in Data Engineering / Data Integration / Backend Data Processing
