Network Architect

Our client is seeking a Network Architect to design and implement secure, scalable network connectivity across multi-cloud environments. The role focuses on bridging GCP and Azure infrastructures to support six SDLC environments and robust Disaster Recovery (DR) setups. This is a high-level technical position requiring a deep understanding of hybrid cloud architecture, security segmentation, and failover validation.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Connectivity & Architecture

• Design and implement secure cross-cloud connectivity, including VPN and ExpressRoute solutions.
• Define Azure VNet architecture and implement effective network segmentation.
• Manage and implement Network Security Groups (NSGs), routing tables, and firewall policies.
• Ensure seamless and secure connectivity between various SaaS components.

Disaster Recovery & Governance

• Design comprehensive network replication strategies for Disaster Recovery.
• Validate failover and failback connectivity to ensure business continuity.
• Maintain strict network compliance and governance standards across all cloud environments.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Cloud Networking Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of Azure networking and GCP networking (including VPCs and Peering).
• Hybrid Connectivity: Proven experience designing and managing hybrid cloud connectivity between disparate providers.
• Security & Routing: Advanced expertise in firewall design, routing protocols, and policy implementation.
• Resiliency Planning: Hands-on experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) network planning.

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven Track Record: Extensive experience in designing and implementing large-scale, secure cloud network infrastructures.
• Multi-Cloud Environments: Demonstrated ability to support complex SDLC environments across both GCP and Azure.
• Compliance Mindset: Strong understanding of network governance and security best practices within a cloud-native context.
