Position Overview

We are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to manage both relational and non-relational databases in a high-availability, production-grade environment.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring data integrity, system stability, and optimal database performance across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB)
  • Perform database installation, configuration, and upgrades (Oracle 11g/12c/19c, MariaDB, etc.)
  • Manage high-availability and disaster recovery environments, including Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard
  • Optimize database performance through SQL tuning, AWR/ADDM analysis, and indexing strategies
  • Execute backup and recovery operations using RMAN, Data Pump (expdp/impdp), and related tools
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database incidents to ensure system uptime and SLA compliance
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and DevOps teams to support application database requirements
  • Provide technical support for both production and internal environments
  • Stay up to date with emerging database technologies and recommend improvements

Required Qualifications

  • Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) and/or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification (required)
  • 1–3 years of experience as a Database Administrator, with a focus on Oracle
  • Strong experience with Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c, including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN
  • Solid SQL skills and experience in performance tuning
  • Experience working in Linux environments (e.g., Red Hat, Rocky Linux, Oracle Linux)
  • Hands-on experience with Data Pump, schema refresh, tablespace, and user management
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and support production environments when needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PostgreSQL or MariaDB (production or migration projects)
  • Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis
  • Familiarity with cloud database platforms (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Oracle OCI)
  • Basic scripting skills (Shell/Bash) for automation
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as OEM, Nagios, or Datadog
  • Knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication

Language Requirements

  • Proficient in English (written and verbal)
