About the Internship
Are you a design student or a self-taught creator looking to see your work live on real-world applications? We are looking for a UI/UX Design Intern who is passionate about building clean, modern interfaces.
Unlike traditional design roles, you will work closely with our engineering team to ensure your designs are technically feasible and high-performing. You will get hands-on experience with the Next.js/Vercel ecosystem and learn how a professional product team moves from an idea in Figma to a live feature.
- What You Will Learn & DoMaster User Experience: Go beyond "making it look good." You will learn to audit existing web pages for UX friction and propose real solutions.
- Figma to Code: Learn how to structure Figma files (Auto-layout, Components) so they are ready for developers to build.
- Frontend Basics: Get your hands dirty with Tailwind CSS and React to help implement the designs you create.
- Production Deployment: See your work go live! You will learn how we use Vercel to preview and deploy design changes.
- Design Systems: Help us build and maintain a consistent library of buttons, inputs, and layouts.
- RequirementsStrong Figma Skills: You should be comfortable creating prototypes and using components.
- Design Eye: A solid understanding of typography, spacing, and modern web aesthetics.
- Tech Curiosity: You don't need to be a pro coder, but you should have a basic understanding of HTML/CSS and a desire to learn how React works.
- Problem Solver: Ability to look at a messy page and figure out how to make it simpler for the user.
- Great Communicator: Since this is remote, you should be good at explaining your design choices (written or via video).
- Submission RequirementsPortfolio Link: (Behance, Dribbble, Figma link, or Personal Website).
- A "Live" Example: If you have ever put a site online (even a simple one), share the link!
