Team OCTAVE solves JKH’s most intractable problems across industry verticals by building pipelines using Python and Azure data factory to work on one of the country’s richest data lakes, building and implementing complex machine learning algorithms that will impact millions of Sri Lankans.
Key Responsibilities
- MLOps, DevOps, AIOps, and AI/GenAI solution deployments.
- Assist in data governance initiatives, including setting up governance rules, policies, access controls, and monitoring compliance across analytics platforms.
- Support monitoring, and lifecycle management of AI/ML models and GenAI solutions across development and production environments.
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable platform solutions.
- Help improve infrastructure reliability, observability, security, and operational efficiency through automation and best practices.
- Proactively identify deployment, performance, and environment issues, and assist in implementing solutions to fix.
- Contribute documentation, reusable templates, scripts, and standards for platform operations.
Desired Skills / Competencies
Education + Technical Skills / Experience
- Undergraduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Basic programming experience in at least one language, such as Python.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts such as CI/CD, version control, and infrastructure automation preferred.
- Exposure to containers and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Interest in MLOps, AIOps, AI/GenAI platforms, and modern solution deployment practices.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and willingness to learn new technologies.
