Role Overview
- We are seeking a Business Analyst to drive business analysis, solution definition, and stakeholder engagement across digital projects.
- This role goes beyond traditional requirement gathering, you will work closely with clients to understand business needs, shape effective digital solutions, and communicate them clearly to both clients and technical teams.
- You will contribute to digital projects ranging from small initiatives to large, complex implementations, requiring structured thinking, adaptability, and strong stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their business processes, challenges, and objectives, ensuring a clear understanding of both stated and underlying needs.
- Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder discussions to gather insights, align expectations, and define scope across different business and user groups.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, ensuring they are structured, complete, and clearly understood by all stakeholders.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within existing processes and systems, and recommend practical enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into clear, practical digital solutions, considering usability, scalability, and overall business impact.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to validate feasibility, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment between business expectations and technical delivery.
- Evaluate multiple solution options and recommend the most effective approach, balancing business value, cost, and technical constraints.
- Structure solutions into phases to support efficient implementation and future scalability.
- Prepare structured documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications (FSDs), user flows, and solution documents, ensuring clarity, completeness, and usability for both business and technical teams.

- Support proposal development and scope definition, ensuring solutions are well-defined, realistic, and aligned with client objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery, and provide clarity and support during the initial stages of execution.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong business analysis and requirement gathering capability
- Ability to think beyond requirements and define effective digital solutions
- Excellent documentation and structuring skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with digital products, eCommerce, or SaaS platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Good stakeholder and expectation management skills
- Ability to evaluate solutions based on business value, cost, and implementation effort
- Strong prioritization skills
- Good understanding of web technologies, CMS platforms, and system integrations is an added advantage
- Experience in both Business Analysis and Project Management will be a strong advantage
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in Business Analysis, Digital, or Pre-Sales roles
- Experience in IT / Web / Digital environments preferred
- Experience in end-to-end or multi-phase digital projects
- Exposure to large or complex implementations is an advantage
- Degree in IT, Business, or a related field
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification (added advantage)
