We’re looking for the next generation of talented graduates to join our team for an unforgettable 10-week internship. As one of our interns, you will gain a comprehensive introduction to our business. You’ll be assigned to a team to support real-life projects that bring our products and services to life and are ready to launch to our learners. On-the-job training and professional development will be provided to enable you to contribute to the business. You’ll also have direct access to a senior member of the team, as each intern will be mentored to help you make the most of the 6 month program. What Does the Internship Program Offer?
Pearson is offering a 6 Month internship in 2026 for two exceptional Software Engineering undergraduate students with strong analytical skills who are eager to gain hands-on experience in large-scale Software Engineering. Interns will engage in various aspects of Software requirements analysis, Software Design and Development as well as Software Quality Engineering and Quality Control processes.
Pay rate
The award includes a Rs 50,000 monthly allowance.
You will be eligible for accrued paid sick time per the policy guidelines. Please refer to the Sick Leave Policy.
Job Description
As a Software Engineering Intern at Pearson, you will gain valuable hands-on experience working on large-scale software development projects that power modern learning platforms and products. During the internship, you will actively participate in requirements analysis, software design, and application development, building practical skills across the full software development lifecycle.
You will work within a collaborative Agile–Scrum environment, contributing alongside experienced engineering teams while learning industry best practices in teamwork, delivery, and continuous improvement. The role also provides a unique opportunity to learn from technology experts, with exposure to cutting-edge software engineering practices, modern development tools, and emerging AI-driven technologies.
In addition, interns will engage with software research and development initiatives, strengthening both their technical capabilities and professional communication skills within the context of educational technology and digital assessment solutions.
