We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our growing team, and this opportunity is ideal for a candidate with a mature level of SQL database administration skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze database issues and troubleshoot or configure the database accordingly
- Configure, monitor, and improve SQL databases
- Adhere to company security policies and effectively control access to data
- Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of security and speed
- Manage database changes and re-designs
- Install, configure and administrate application servers
- Manage databases on On-primes and Cloud environment
- Design and implement database backup and disaster recovery procedures
Qualifications
- An academic background with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
- 5+ years of experience in the IT field and 3+ years of industry experience in Database Administrator with MS SQL.
- Azure SQL experience highly preferred.
- Manage and prioritize multiple related projects, including troubleshooting, operations, and maintenance of the enterprise in a team environment
- Strong experience with databases including configuration and performance tuning is preferred
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Hands on experience on Cloud technologies
- Experience working in a high-volume transaction environment would be an added advantage
