The Role
We’re looking for a highly capable Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in web and application development to join our team and work closely with our Contentful CMS web development team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business needs, technology, and delivery—and who knows how to translate ideas into clear, actionable requirements.
Please note: This position requires full-time presence in AU time 9:00am – 5:00 pm AEST (5 days per week) fully remote
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with product owners, developers, designers, and stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Work closely with our Contentful-based CMS development team to optimise workflows, enhance web experiences, and support new features.
- Elicit, analyse, and document requirements for web and application initiatives
- Produce high-quality Business Requirements Specifications (BRS)
- Develop detailed Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) that support efficient development and testing
- Facilitate workshops, requirement‑gathering sessions, and technical discussions.
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Support solution design, UAT, and change management activities as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within digital, web, or application development environments.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, CMS platforms, APIs, and integrations.
- Experience working with or supporting Contentful (or similar headless CMS platforms) is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to write comprehensive BRDs and FRDs.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative, and agile environment.
