Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Web Development Intern based in Colombo, with flexibility for some remote work. The intern will assist with both front-end and back-end web development tasks, ensuring the deployment of user-friendly and efficient websites. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, coding, debugging, maintaining websites, and collaborating with the development team to enhance online platforms in alignment with project objectives and branding requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Front-End Development and Web Design, including expertise in creating responsive and visually appealing interfaces
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development and core Web Development principles, such as server-side programming and database integration
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively within team settings and present ideas clearly
- Basic understanding of web technologies, frameworks, and programming languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a hybrid team (on-site and remote)
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant field of study such as Computer Science, IT, or Web Development
