Position Overview
This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Colombo. As an Intern – Lead Generation, you will assist the sales team in identifying potential business opportunities, conducting market research, building and maintaining prospect databases, and supporting lead qualification activities. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams, communicating with prospective clients, and contributing to business development initiatives.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of lead generation and business development processes
- Ability to conduct market research and collect relevant data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in sales and client engagement activities
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of CRM tools will be an added advantage
