About The Role:
CrowdStrike’s CTO Labs team works at the exciting intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Big Data, and Security. We’re excited to renew our internship program this summer. You will have the opportunity to apply your computational, coding, mathematical and scientific research skills to solve cutting problems from a wide array of areas such as: New frontiers in Cybersecurity, Threat Detection and Prevention, and End-to-End Automation. We are a multidisciplinary team, and you’ll have the chance to broaden your horizons by working jointly with a team of Big Data, Machine Learning, and Security domain experts on hard and impactful problems.
Location & Work Arrangement:
FULLY REMOTE: This role is fully remote and requires no travel. Your work location is the city/town/province you will be working from remotely. For our 12-week internship program, interns are allowed to work remotely from an alternative location for up to 2 weeks. Interns are also invited to work out of the CrowdStrike office located closest to their remote location.
Time Commitment:
Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during standard business hours.
Start & End Dates:
Cohort 1: Wednesday, May 20 - Friday, August 7, 2026 (11 ½ Weeks)
Cohort 2: Monday, June 1 - Friday, August 21, 2026 (12 Weeks)
Cohort 3: Monday, June 15 - Friday, September 4, 2026 (12 Weeks)
What You’ll Do:
- Work directly with Sr. Data Scientists, helping to create and automate predictive machine learning models
- Hone your ability to balance detail-oriented research with goal-oriented business objectives
- Implement and experiment with new algorithms and methodologies to help improve our machine learning models
- Automate an visualize analyses, results and processes in our machine learning pipeline
- Candidate is a PhD-level computer science, data science student or related field, graduating between December 2026 - August 2027
- Analytically minded with completed coursework in linear algebra and data science or an equivalent knowledge of applied mathematics
- Experienced in writing python code to pre-process and analyze data to generate actionable insights
- Hands on in your approach to understanding data and learning about new fields
- Thirsty for knowledge and do not hesitate to step outside of your comfort zone to learn new technologies, algorithms and concepts
- Comfortable with working in a Linux environment
- Bonus points for coursework or previous experience in computer security.
