We’re now seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Developer (React.js + Contentful) to join our digital engineering team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a modern composable architecture and enjoys working across React, Contentful, .Node.js services, NET integrations, Algolia, and Netlify to maintain and evolve enterprise grade websites
The Role
As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, supporting and enhancing clients’ web platforms built on React.js and Contentful, integrated with a modern cloud-native ecosystem.
You’ll work closely with our digital delivery and DevOps teams to ensure uptime, performance, and ongoing improvement across multiple client environments.
Responsibilities
Maintenance and Updates
- Implement updates across React.JS applications, Contentful CMS, Node.js services, Algolia, Netlify configurations, and .NET components.
- Perform dependency audits, regression testing and validation prior to deployments.
- Maintain change documentation and version control through CI/CD pipelines.
Support and Troubleshooting
- Collaborate with Digital and Product teams to resolve publishing issues, API errors, and integration challenges across MERN-based and .NET-backed systems.
- Diagnose and address frontend rendering issues, caching errors, and performance bottlenecks.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement preventative solutions to reduce recurring incidents.
24/7 Monitoring and Incident Recovery
- Support 24/7 uptime through proactive monitoring and rapid incident response.
- Participate in on-call or rotational incident management as required
- Assist with incident recovery and implement post-incident improvements.
Enhancements & Optimisations
- Recommend and deliver improvements across performance, SEO, accessibility, usability, and overall UX.
- Collaborate with UX designers and backend teams to deliver seamless experiences across React, Node.js, and API-driven platforms.
- Run periodic performance audits and apply front-end best practices aligned with Core Web Vitals
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- 5+ years’ of professional web development experience in full stack roles.
- Strong expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Solid experience working within the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
- Hands-on experience with Contentful CMS (content model design, API integration, and publishing workflows).
- Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Excellent understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
- Experience in CI/CD workflows and modern version control (Git).
Desirable:
- Familiarity with .NET backend components.
- Experience with configuring Algolia search.
- Knowledge of Netlify hosting and build pipelines.
- Exposure to OneTrust for cookie and consent management.
- Understanding of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and event tracking.
- Familiarity with monitoring and incident response tools
