About the Role
We are looking for a highly disciplined, technically strong, and security-focused Associate System Admin Engineer to support and manage our growing cloud and infrastructure environment.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about Linux servers, VPS environments, Windows Server, virtualization, network security, and DevOps support.
You will work directly with senior technical leadership and gain exposure to enterprise-level deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Linux & Windows Server environments
- Support VPS and dedicated server configurations
- Configure and monitor firewall & network security
- Assist in virtualization setup (Proxmox / Hyper-V / VMware)
- Manage backups and disaster recovery processes
- Server performance monitoring & optimization
- Assist DevOps team in deployment pipelines
- Implement security hardening practices
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues
Required Skills
- Basic to intermediate Linux administration
- Understanding of Windows Server
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, Firewall, VLAN)
- Familiarity with cloud hosting concepts
- Understanding of server security best practices
- Basic scripting knowledge (Bash / PowerShell preferred)
Nice to Have
- Experience with Proxmox / VMware
- Knowledge in .NET application hosting
- Database server exposure (MySQL / MSSQL)
- Experience in monitoring tools
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in IT / Networking / Computer Science
- OR equivalent hands-on experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
