What We're Looking For:
Core Development Skills:
• PHP Development: Modern PHP (7.4+/8.0+) with OOP principles and Composer
• Front-End Expertise: Advanced JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Gutenberg block development
• Web Fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3/Sass, responsive design principles
• API Integration: REST API development and integration
• Version Control: Git version control and collaborative workflows
• Database Management: MySQL/MariaDB database optimization
Additional Technical Assets:
• WordPress theme & plugin development experience
• Performance optimization and Core Web Vitals knowledge
• Understanding of WordPress security best practices
• Experience with build tools (Webpack, Vite) and package managers
• Familiarity with local development environments
