The Role
We are looking for a passionate Software Engineering Intern to join our development team. You will work closely with senior engineers to build and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack. This is not a "fetch coffee" internship; you will push code to production and work on real-world features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with the design and product teams to implement user interfaces.
- Participate in code reviews and debugging sessions.
- Research new technologies and suggest improvements to the current system.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Basic knowledge or personal projects built using the MERN Stack.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of version control tools like Git.
- A strong willingness to learn and adapt to a startup environment.
Nice to Have (Bonus):
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Knowledge of state management (Redux, Context API).
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or Material UI.
- Experience with Next.js.
