Do you want to build technology that genuinely helps businesses thrive?

Are you looking to add an impressive project to your resume, maximising your future employability?

Do you love solving problems independently and collaborating with teammates who care just as much as you do?

If your answer is “yes,” then you might be exactly the intern we’re looking for.

At Sorn Artificial Intelligence, we strive for a future where businesses can increase their AI visibility and get a high-intent source of leads across large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and more. We are building one of the most powerful marketing channels for businesses, resulting in consistent high-intent leads.

We’re searching for a Software Engineer Intern eager to learn, grow, and make meaningful contributions to our product and engineering efforts. This fully remote internship gives you the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers, product managers and senior developers while having the freedom to take ownership of your work.

What You’ll Do

As a Software Engineer Intern, you’ll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, contributing to features and systems that make a real impact. Your work may include:

  • Designing and developing components of our platform using modern software development practices
  • Collaborating with the AI/ML team on projects that enhance automation and compliance capabilities
  • Participating in code reviews, design discussions, and team standups
  • Helping diagnose, debug, and solve issues in a fast-moving environment
  • Learning new tools, frameworks, and engineering concepts as you grow into the role

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who brings both technical ability and genuine enthusiasm to the table. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong grounding in Computer Science fundamentals and you understand core concepts, from data structures to software architecture, and enjoy applying them to real-world problems.
  • The confidence to work independently when needed, paired with the communication skills and collaborative mindset that help a team succeed together.
  • A naturally curious, proactive approach to learning, someone who’s excited to explore new tools, frameworks, and technologies as the project demands.
  • Hands-on experience through personal projects, coursework, or internships (helpful, but not required), you’ve built something before and are eager to build more.
  • Enrollment in a Computer Science or related degree program, demonstrating your commitment to advancing your technical expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, candidates who meet these criteria will take priority during selection process:

  • Progress toward or completion of a Bachelor’s degree, ensuring you have strong academic foundations.
  • Approximately one year of programming experience, whether gained through classes, personal side projects, hackathons, or prior work.
  • Around one year of web development experience, with any combination of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks, or backend technologies (personal projects absolutely count!)

If you're passionate about building meaningful software and ready to contribute to a mission-driven startup working at the intersection of advertising technology and AI, we’d love to hear from you.
