Senior Quality Engineer (AI & Automation)

What You'll Do:
- Design & Execute: Assist in defining our overall QA strategy, test plans, and automation frameworks to ensure comprehensive coverage across UI, API, and performance testing.
- Build & Automate: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium, and integrate them seamlessly into our CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Optimize Performance: Support load, stress, and scalability testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or K6 to identify bottlenecks and drive performance optimizations.
- Validate & Secure: Execute manual and exploratory testing, perform API validation with Postman/REST Assured, and support security testing initiatives.
- Collaborate & Improve: Work closely with cross-functional Dev, DevOps, and Product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to foster a culture of continuous improvement and shift-left quality.
What We're Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on Test Automation, Performance, and Manual Testing.
- Proficiency with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Hands-on experience with Performance Testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, K6).
- Solid understanding of API Testing using Postman, REST Assured, etc.
- Proven experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in both Mobile & Web Application Testing across various devices and browsers.
- Strong skills in debugging, root cause analysis, and working effectively within Agile/Scrum teams.
Bonus Points (Preferred Skills):
- Experience with Shift-Left Testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms like AWS Device Farm or Azure DevTest Labs.
- Knowledge of observability tools like Splunk, New Relic, or Kibana for monitoring and error tracking.
- Ability to write and optimize automation scripts for large-scale, complex applications.
