We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator with over 10 years of industry expertise to join our team. This role involves managing and optimizing Linux environments, ensuring high availability, and delivering robust infrastructure solutions. Strong knowledge of RedHat and SUSE is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Linux systems, ensuring stability, security, and performance.
- Perform server hardware sizing, capacity planning, and define Linux hosting architecture.
- Configure and manage Linux Clustering for high availability.
- Handle technical escalations and provide expert-level solutions across multiple Linux flavors.
- Manage Chassis, Blade, and Rack mount servers and stay updated on evolving technologies.
- Execute UNIX platform migrations, implementations, and effort estimations.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, quality standards, and company policies.
- Contribute to knowledge base updates, mentor junior team members, and engage in continuous learning.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of proven experience in Linux Administration.
- Expertise in RedHat and SUSE (primary), with knowledge of AIX (secondary).
- Understanding of Linux Clustering and server provisioning.
- Familiarity with data center tool frameworks and multi-vendor UNIX environments.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve complex technical issues independently.
