To be eligible, you must be a 4th year bachelors/undergraduate due to complete your degree summer 2026 and studying a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electronics/Electrical Engineering. If successful you join a team in our Colombo – Malabe hub as a Software Engineer.

Typical duties as a Software Engineer
Contribute as a C++ or Java engineer in an agile scrum team.
Work towards understand software modules and subsystems from design to quality perspectives
With support from senior engineers with translate story-level requirements into tasks and implement them in C++ or Java code.
With supervision apply code changes with integrity and standard processes.
Gain experience in software quality through unit, component, and end-to-end testing.

Our graduates join us on a permanent basis, and from day one you will be aligned to LSEG Markets division, which will allow you to develop within a secure framework. During the recruitment process we will get to know your skills and interest and how they align to the needs of the business, to allow us to place you in the right team.
We will also support you in discovering more about the areas of LSEG by connecting you with the relevant departments so that you can learn more about them. All the while you will be applying your new skills to real world business challenges, through project-based learning.
