What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and implement both front-end and back-end components of web applications using .NET technologies and modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular), HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
- Develop robust and scalable back-end services and APIs using .NET technologies, including Web API, RESTful services, and database interactions.
- Design and manage relational databases (SQL Server) and write efficient SQL queries. Experience with ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework) is a plus.
- Ensures the User Interfaces used for the product are in line with requirements and implemented correctly.
- Collaborate with AI consultants to embed Azure AI services (NLP, predictive analytics).
- Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments (Azure) and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues related to application performance and functionality.
- Optimise security, scalability, and user experience for global clients.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share best practices with junior developers.
- Mentoring junior developers.
- Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Key Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- Good foundation in .NET Core, Angular, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, boards).
- Exposure to Flutter is a bonus, but not required.
- Curiosity about AI, cloud computing, and Azure services.
- Enthusiasm, adaptability, and self-drive in a hybrid work setup.
- Bonus: Any personal software projects or initiatives beyond academics.
