We are looking for an Associate Project Manager with a strong technical background, specifically someone who has spent 3-5 years as a Software Engineer and is now ready to transition into a project and delivery-focused career path.
This role is ideal for someone who understands how software is built, enjoys working closely with engineers and stakeholders, and wants to grow into a future Project Manager / Delivery Lead / Product Owner. You will help coordinate and drive engineering initiatives, ensuring smooth execution, clear communication, and timely delivery of high-quality products.
You’ll work across multiple teams building AI-powered platforms, CRMs, workflow tools, and enterprise software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Delivery
- Assist in planning, organizing, and managing software development projects end-to-end.
- Track project status, milestones, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Coordinate across product, experience, QA, and platform teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Stakeholder Management
- Communicate project updates, issues, and timelines clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and ensure clarity between the business and engineering teams.
- Help manage client expectations and support project-related communications.
Technical Contribution
- Use your software engineering background to understand system architecture, technical feasibility, and development complexity.
- Assist in reviewing technical requirements, identifying risks, and supporting decision-making.
- Bridge communication between technical and non-technical teams effectively.
Process & Quality
- Support agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retros, demos).
- Ensure adherence to project processes, documentation, and quality standards.
- Contribute to improving workflows, minimizing blockers, and enhancing team productivity.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer (any modern backend or full stack stack such as Java, .NET, Node.js, Django, Go, React, etc.).
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles, agile principles, CI/CD, code reviews, testing practices, and engineering workflows.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and business language.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and manage timelines.
- A clear interest in transitioning into project management, product ownership, delivery management, or leadership roles.
Nice to Have
- Experience leading small engineering tasks, modules, or features.
- Exposure to project tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, ClickUp).
- Familiarity with SCRUM or Agile methodologies.
- Experience communicating with clients or cross-functional teams.
