We’re looking for a talented and versatile Website Designer & Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who can seamlessly combine creative design with technical development to build functional, user-friendly, and visually compelling websites. You’ll collaborate closely with our creative, content, and strategy teams to bring digital experiences to life and support ongoing public sector communication initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop responsive, accessible, and visually appealing websites.
- Work on both front-end design and back-end development tasks.
- Maintain, update, and optimize existing websites for performance, security, and usability.
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and project leads to translate concepts into digital experiences.
- Troubleshoot issues, test new features, and ensure seamless functionality across devices and browsers.
- Contribute to UI/UX improvements and overall digital strategy.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a website designer and developer (portfolio required).
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Proficiency in WordPress or similar CMS platforms (custom theme development is a plus).
- Experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Understanding of SEO best practices, web performance, and accessibility standards.
- A creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus: experience with animation, Webflow, or other modern web tools.
