This role is ideal for those who want to build a strong foundation in network operations, security monitoring, and IT infrastructure management under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Assist in monitoring and managing network and security devices through SOC/NOC systems.
- Support the configuration and maintenance of firewalls, switches, routers, and access points.
- Help in troubleshooting and resolving basic network and connectivity issues.
- Maintain documentation of incidents, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on real-world projects and technical deployments.
- Currently following or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Networking, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
- Basic understanding of network fundamentals (IP addressing, routing, switching, VLANs).
- Interest in learning about firewalls, Wi-Fi systems, and cloud-based network solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Client Interaction and Documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valuable hands-on experience in SOC/NOC operations.
- Mentorship and technical guidance from certified network and security professionals.
- Exposure to enterprise-grade firewalls, switches, and monitoring platforms.
- Friendly and collaborative working environment.
- Possibility of full-time employment upon successful completion of training.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent technical training or certifications (such as Cisco CCNA) may be considered.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of network protocols, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and common networking devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience: Previous internship or practical experience in network support or IT is a plus but not required.
