Role Description
This is an Internship role(unpaid) for a UI/UX Designer located in Preston, England, UK. The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for designing user interfaces, creating user-centred designs through mockups and prototypes, and enhancing the user experience across digital platforms. The role will include collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions align with business goals and user needs. The designer will also contribute to creating visually attractive, user-friendly designs while considering technical feasibility and overall functionality.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, Proactive, positive-minded, Creative, Team Collaborator, dedicated candidate who can join immediately. The first 3 months will be unpaid, subject to a thorough review of the candidate's work. He/she will have an opportunity to work full-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for digital products
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Framer, Sketch, or similar
- Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows
- Familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Creative Minded, Problem Solving, Team Collaborative, Critical Thinking
- Participate in usability testing, A/B testing, and user research activities
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to align on requirements
- Ensure a consistent design language and experience across all platforms
- Support front-end development by clearly communicating design intent
- Contribute ideas to enhance usability, accessibility, and design quality
Qualifications
- Experience in creating Mockups, Prototyping, and Visual Design
- Strong knowledge of User Experience Design (UED) principles and practices
- Familiarity with Front-End Development processes and collaboration with development teams
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or similar
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- Experience in usability testing and analysis is a plus.
