Ranga Technologies is looking for a Backend Developer Intern with strong backend development knowledge who is eager to learn about LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and vector databases as part of building intelligent systems.
This role is ideal for someone who already excels in backend development and is looking to expand into the exciting world of AI infrastructure and large language models.
🔧 What You’ll Work On:
- Design, build, and optimize backend APIs for AI-driven applications
- Write clean, efficient code in Python and Node.js for scalable multi-user systems
- Learn to integrate with LLMs (OpenAI, OSS models) and manage inference workflows
- Explore and support RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector database integrations
- Contribute to real-time APIs, async task handling, and performance optimizations
- Work closely with AI engineers, frontend developers, and product teams
- Apply best practices in API structure, error handling, and deployment workflows
