Azbow (Pvt) Ltd is a software development and digital marketing agency based in Colombo, partnering with leading brands locally and internationally. We’re looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our growing development team and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and plugins.
- Work with WooCommerce for e-commerce solutions and customizations.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to bring concepts to life.
- Integrate third-party APIs and optimize site performance and security.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code while following best practices.
- Contribute effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of OOP concepts and PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter or Laravel).
- Good knowledge of MySQL database design, queries, and optimization.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.
- Experience with Git/version control.
- Familiarity with WordPress security best practices and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of WooCommerce development and customization.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on code quality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
