Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team | Coordination Centre (Sri Lanka CERT|CC) is the National Center for Cyber Security in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka CERT|CC is responsible for protecting both Sri Lanka's organizations and individuals by responding to cyber threats and proactively enhancing security measures. With a strong emphasis on cyber defense, it's a pivotal entity in maintaining the nation's cybersecurity.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Colombo for a Senior Information Security Engineer. The Senior Information Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols, monitoring systems for security breaches, and analyzing security incidents. Daily tasks include risk assessment, vulnerability analysis, incident response, and developing security policies and procedures. Collaborating with other IT departments and keeping up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends will also be essential.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Risk Assessment, Governance Compliance and Incident Response
- Experience with Security Audits, and System Monitoring
- Strong knowledge of Security Protocols, Security Standards and Frameworks.
- Ability to Develop Security Policies, Procedures, and Security Awareness Training programs
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
