Role Overview
Join GTN and shape the future of trading and wealth management experiences! We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to turn complex financial systems into intuitive, engaging, and seamless interactions. In this role, you’ll own critical user journeys, design workflows that simplify decision-making, and ensure every interface is informed by real user insights and business impact.
You’ll have the chance to influence products that touch thousands of users globally, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Research teams to deliver experiences that are efficient, trustworthy, and visually compelling. Key Responsibilities:
● Translate insights from Product, Engineering, and Business teams into actionable design solutions, ensuring the user remains central throughout the development process.
● Take full ownership of the design journey: from research and ideation to wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished UI.
● Conduct user research and testing, turning findings into improvements that enhance usability, accessibility, and satisfaction.
● Collaborate with UX Research, Product, and Brand teams to define the design direction and align on product vision.
● Use qualitative and quantitative data to guide decisions, validate design choices, and optimise user experiences.
● Advocate for clarity, simplicity, and consistency, ensuring users can complete tasks efficiently and confidently.
● Continuously refine and improve the user experience through iteration, feedback, and best practice design principles.
Job Requirements:
● 3–5 years of experience in UX, Product Design, or Interaction Design with a strong portfolio of delivered products.
● Deep expertise in user research, usability testing, and translating insights into design solutions.
● Ability to design clear, seamless, and visually compelling experiences, particularly for complex or data-rich platforms.
● Strong UI design skills with attention to hierarchy, visual clarity, and interaction detail.
● Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting and defending design decisions to cross-functional teams.
● Experience collaborating with Product Team, Engineers, Researchers, and QA to align on user-centered design solutions.
● Comfort using data and analytics to inform design iteration and measure outcomes.
Preferred:
● Experience designing trading platforms, wealth management tools, or fintech applications.
● Familiarity with design systems and scalable design patterns.
● Understanding of inclusive and accessible design practices.
