Muslim Aid is a UK-based relief and development agency founded in 1985, operating in over 70 countries worldwide. Since the 2004 Tsunami, Muslim Aid has been actively working in Sri Lanka, providing emergency relief, capacity building, education and skills training, microfinance, and income-generating initiatives. - Develop scalable features using Laravel 11, Livewire 3, Alpine.js, and Bootstrap.
- Design efficient PostgreSQL queries and implement caching with Redis.
- Deploy, monitor, and debug applications on AWS EC2 auto-scaling environments.
- Collaborate with senior team members on architecture and performance reviews.
- Ensure high code quality through testing, debugging, and peer reviews.
- Write and maintain clear technical documentation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Perform essential QA tasks to ensure application reliability.
- Maintain CID compliance concerning the application, codebase, and data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PHP/Laravel application development.
- Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS), including scaling and basic security.
- Hands-on experience with Livewire, Alpine.js, Bootstrap, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms, queues, caching strategies, and REST APIs.
- Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.
