The Role
You will work directly with our CTO and Senior Engineering Leaders to write performant and scalable code for both our teacher and tutor products. We’re looking for a star who can work with our modern tech stack and make a massive contribution.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CTO to design, develop and secure scalable software
- Design and integrate conventions and tools for efficient and maintainable front-end
- Develop complex Widgets and features (think whiteboards, markdown editors!)
- Foster continuous improvement and innovation in the front-end
Suitability
- 4+ years as a full-stack software engineer
- 3+ years of experience as a Flutter developer
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming and common design patterns
- Experience writing software tests and unit-tests
Bonus If:
- Experience with low-level Flutter constructs, e.g. Paint and subclassing RenderObject's
- Contributions to Flutter SDK and/or open-source Flutter packages
- Experience with MongoDB and GraphQL
- Computer Science or Mathematics background
- Experience with Go in production
- Experience with GCP and Docker
