Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Define and evolve technical architectures for complex web applications and platforms.
• Design decoupled, headless architectures using modern JavaScript frameworks and CMS platforms.
• Lead architectural decisions for Drupal 10/11 and CraftCMS implementations.
• Establish technical standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical governance across projects.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Design scalable, secure, high-performance solutions meeting compliance requirements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and architecture records.

Hands-On Development

• Develop fullstack applications using NextJS, React, VueJS, Nuxt, and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain Drupal 10/11 modules, themes, and custom functionality.
• Implement serverless middleware with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and related services.
• Create accessible, WCAG-compliant user interfaces and components.
• Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs for decoupled architectures.
• Implement content modeling strategies for CMS platforms.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and conduct code reviews to ensure quality.

Team Leadership & Mentoring

· Lead and mentor a diverse team of developers across various skill levels.

· Conduct regular one-on-ones, providing constructive feedback and career guidance.

· Identify skill gaps and create tailored development plans for team members.

· Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.

· Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and technical workshops.

· Support career progression and build an inclusive team environment.

· Manage workload distribution and resource allocation effectively.

DevOps & Automation

· Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or Pulumi.

· Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

· Configure and optimize AWS services (Lambda, S3, CloudFront, RDS) and Vercel deployments.

· Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies for robust operations.

· Implement automated testing frameworks and quality gates.

· Ensure security best practices and compliance with industry standards.

Innovation & Strategic Planning

· Research and prototype emerging technologies and development approaches.

· Contribute to technical strategy and roadmap planning.

· Identify opportunities for process and tooling improvements.

· Lead proof-of-concept development for new initiatives.

· Optimize application performance and cost efficiency.

· Manage environment configurations and deployment strategies.

· Evaluate AI/ML opportunities to enhance applications.

· Drive adoption of modern development practices.

· Participate in technology community events, forums, and contribute to open-source projects.

What we are looking for

Experience:

• 7-10 years of fullstack development experience.
• 2-3 years in a technical lead or similar role.

Technical Skills:

• Drupal Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Drupal 10/11 architecture, module development, and theming.
• JavaScript Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Framework Expertise: Production experience with NextJS, React, VueJS, or Nuxt.
• API Development: Strong experience designing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, RDS) and Vercel.
• Version Control: Advanced Git workflows and branching strategies.
• Databases: Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CraftCMS, WCAG accessibility standards, and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor, lead, and inspire teams, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Innovation Mindset: Passion for exploring emerging technologies and driving technical excellence.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
