Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the DevOps team by designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and monitoring tools to support and enhance SimCentric’s DevOps practices.
- Develop and maintain build automations using Jenkins and Bitbucket Pipelines for software products across web and desktop platforms.
- Monitor build jobs and manage product releases, including proactively resolving release-related issues.
- Track and analyze build metrics, recommending improvements to optimize and enhance existing CI/CD workflows.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all change requests, build processes, and release procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Strong, hands-on experience with Jenkins, including advanced pipeline scripting.
- Proven expertise with Docker and troubleshooting in containerized environments.
- Solid understanding of Git and Git workflows (e.g., GitFlow).
- Proficient in working within Linux environments.
- Experience in building CI/CD workflows using Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Familiarity with artifact management systems such as Sonatype Nexus.
- Experience with build and packaging tools such as Maven, MSBuild, NPM, NuGet, and Vcpkg.
