Position Title: Full-Stack Developer – Web & API.
1. Background
• Mobile Application – Unity-built AR experiences
• Web Application & APIs
To accelerate roadmap delivery, we require a Full-Stack Developer who can own feature development across our API layer and our web interface.
2. Scope of Work & Key Responsibilities
API & Back-End
• Design and implement REST endpoints in Laravel 8.3+ (PHP 7.4).
• Optimize MySQL queries; introduce caching using Cloudflare.
• Integrate third-party services – payment gateway.
• Write PHPUnit/Pest tests; maintain API documentation.
Front-End (Next.js)
• Build Server Components and client components with React 18.
• Implement static site generation & incremental revalidation for
core pages.
DevOps & QA
• Configure GitHub Actions for linting, test, build, and deploy.
• Monitor performance and back-end metrics
3. Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proficient in English.
• 5+ years professional web development experience; 3+ years with Laravel and
React/Next.js
• Expert in PHP, Laravel ≥ 8, React 18, Next.js 14.
• Solid SQL skills; familiarity with Eloquent, query optimization, and database design.
• Proficient with TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and component-driven UI development.
• Comfortable with AWS.
• Strong grasp of CI/CD, automated testing, and containerization (Docker).
• Excellent communication and documentation habits.
Nice-to-Have
• Experience in AI workflows.
• Familiarity with analytics pipelines and data warehousing.
• Exposure to Unity’s WebGL builds or integration with back-ends.
4. Performance Evaluation
Performance will be reviewed quarterly against:
- Delivery of agreed goals and roadmap milestones.
- Code quality metrics.
- Collaboration & knowledge-sharing contributions.
5. Work Arrangement & Tools
• Workflow: GitHub, Linear, WhatsApp.
• Meetings: Daily stand-up, bi-weekly sprint review.
• Hardware/Software: Company-provisioned Laptop.
6. Confidentiality & IP
All code, documentation, and related assets produced during the engagement are the
exclusive property of Hologo World Inc. The developer shall sign an NDA and IP assignment
agreement before onboarding.
7. Application Requirements
- Updated CV with relevant project links.
- GitHub profile or code sample demonstrating back-end and front-end expertise.
Offer:
- Base Salary: 1,750 - 2500 USD.
- Engagement Type: 12-month renewable contract (with 3-month probation).
- Reports To: Lead Engineer, Hologo Web Platform.
- Location / Mode: Remote-first, with overlap of 4 hours per business day to Maldives Standard Time (UTC +05:00).
