The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer - Automation to join our team and work with our teams across the company.


Responsibilities

  • Writing Automated test scripts using industry-standard tools such as Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript, or Selenium & RestAssured, Postman.
  • Version controlling with Git / GitHub repository etc.
  • Integrate automated test scripts on Github with CI/CD pipeline.
  • Involved in compatibility testing to evaluate system performance under varying conditions using different devices and browsers.
  • Test Management and Defect Management.
  • Create comprehensive test documentation like test plans etc.
  • Come up with estimates, prioritise, plan, and coordinate QA activities.
  • Work closely on the project deadlines to ensure test automation scripting is delivered on time.
  • Conduct code reviews on test scripts, provide peer review comments to the peers, and incorporate the review comments.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Test Automation.
  • Experience with Automation testing tools and developing frameworks such as Playwright with Typescript, and Selenium & RestAssured, Postman.
  • Hands-on experience in API Automation.
  • Excellent understanding of HTML,CSS and Xpath locators.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure Devops) and test management tools (Jira, TestRail).
  • A good understanding of design principles and writing clean test code.
  • Experience in version control systems like GitHub.
  • Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of Cloud applications.
  • Knowledge of application testing/security testing is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Mobile testing is a plus.
  • Previous working experience with offshore clients.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
