As an Intern in Quality Engineering for Wiley, you will contribute to actual projects in maintaining the quality engineering practices/processes, create test cases, execute functional and regression test scenarios, and work closely with Wiley’s product development teams to identify, recreate, and retest issues. Strong analytical and programming skills will be essential as you will be involved in functional and non-functional test automation activities.
How you will make an impact:
- Assist in creating and maintaining libraries of test plans and test scenarios.
- Provide support to create and maintain automation regression test scripts and performance test scripts.
- Assist in manual and automated test execution to ensure developed functionality satisfies requirements and aligns with specifications.
- Help to track and record results of test execution.
- Third or final year University student or a graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software engineer or a related field.
- Knowledge of OOP (Object Oriented Programming) concepts.
- Knowledge in quality assurance/engineering concepts.
- Experience in manual testing of web/mobile based technologies is a plus.
- Hands on programming knowledge in Java and/or Python.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Team player who can easily adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
