Senior Manager - Internal Audit and Fraud Investigations

 

The Job

• Overall Responsibility for the conducting and completing investigations with due care, preserving integrity and proficiency.
• Conducts initial process understanding, incident background analysis/ research, related suspect profile analysis.
• Handle complaints and feedback from whistle-blowers on fraudulent claims reported in WB 2.0 Platform.
• To ensure investigation working files are complete (investigation issues adequately supported by documentary evidence) properly indexed and cross referenced.
• Assist GCIA in managing the achievement of Audit Plan in order to ensure an effective internal control and smooth operations with related to the process.
• Assist GCIA to assess and ensure alignment to business structure, risk profile, and the Institute of Internal Auditors' standards.
• Assist GCIA in compiling BAC papers and presentations for,
• Divisional KPIs Activity updates
• Audit plan and progress updates
• Audit Resolution status updates
• Major Control issues in order to ensure the achievement of the audit objectives.
• Ensure all audits account for, and adhere to, the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards, Dialog Code of Ethics, Axiata GIA manual and defined audit practice of Dialog GIA, as well as consider the relevant regulatory requirements of both the Sri Lankan and international telecommunications regulatory bodies.
• Propose and establish audit protocols and standards to be adhered to when undertaking audits.
• Motivate team to achieve performance targets to enable the achievement of audit objectives and departmental goals.

The Person

• Possess a General MBA or MSc in Technical Management or related field from a recognized university and bachelor’s degree in Networking/ Engineering (Electronics and Telecommunication, Electrical and Information, Electrical and Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field)
• 15+ years of experience in Auditing with proven experience in auditing telecommunications network or participating in auditing of telcos.
• Holding certifications in TTI/NDES, NDT, or similar; with an Associate Membership of the Engineering Council, Sri Lanka (ECSL)/ Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL)
• Certification in auditing (e.g., CIA or CISA) and network related professional certification (e.g., CCNA or CCNP) would be an added advantage.
