Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Colombo for an Information Technology Assistant. The role involves providing technical support for hardware and software issues, managing printers and peripherals, troubleshooting IT systems and network issues, and assisting the IT Manager with daily IT operations while ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 guidelines.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- 1–2 years of working experience in a similar capacity is preferred.
- HND or Degree in IT or a related Technology field.
- Experience in IT support with exposure to ISO 27001, ISMS processes, or audit coordination will be an added advantage
- Experience or knowledge in Microsoft Azure AD, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365 Cloud, Networking fundamentals
- Fresh graduates with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote IT helpdesk support, including software/OS installation, printer troubleshooting, and hardware support.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure accurate daily updates.
- Willingness to participate in training programs such as: ISMS Internal Auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
- Manage Dialog BizCare and SLT Enterprise portals, maintain printer counter trackers, and assist with monthly billing processes.
- Travel to hospital-based research sites as per the monthly support schedule to maintain smooth IT infrastructure operations.
- Support official meetings at HO or Remote locations with AV setup for Zoom / Teams conferences.
- Assist with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune administration. firewall management.
- Assist with IT procurement, vendor coordination, and delivery follow-ups.
- Support the IT Manager during ISO and client audits.
- Possess good communication skills in English and Sinhala or Tamil.
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
