Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop WordPress websites, themes, and plugins based on project requirements
- Customize and maintain existing WordPress websites for performance and security
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver responsive, user-friendly interfaces
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress and associated technologies
- Optimize website performance and implement SEO best practices
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and updates
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with page builders such as Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery
- Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles
- Knowledge of WordPress coding standards and best practices
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Familiarity with SEO tools and best practices is an advantage
