Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Website Developer, based in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. The Junior Website Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites with a focus on both front-end and back-end functionality, ensuring user-friendly experiences. Day-to-day tasks include coding, debugging, testing, and implementing web solutions while working collaboratively with the design and development team. The role also involves staying updated with emerging technologies and contributing ideas to optimize digital solutions for clients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or similar tools
- Experience in Back-End Web Development with technologies such as Node.js, PHP, or Laravel
- Familiarity with Web Development principles, including responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Skills in Web Design and user interface (UI) best practices
- Strong understanding of Programming concepts and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent teamwork, time management, and communication skills
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent qualifications
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git is a plus
