Role Description

We are looking for a motivated WordPress Developer Intern to assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing websites. This is a hands-on role where you will work alongside senior developers to handle everything from basic content updates to troubleshooting plugin conflicts and assisting with custom theme development.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Maintenance: Assist in updating WordPress core, themes, and plugins while ensuring site stability.
- Content Management: Upload and format blog posts, pages, and products using editors like Gutenberg or Elementor.
- Frontend: Use HTML and CSS to make UI adjustments and ensure mobile responsiveness.
- WooCommerce Management: Assist in configuring product variations, categories, and inventory settings within the WooCommerce ecosystem.
- Store Optimization: Help monitor and improve the checkout flow, cart functionality, and overall site performance.
- Plugin & Tool Support: Assist in testing and troubleshooting e-commerce-specific plugins (payment gateways, shipping calculators, and marketing automation).
- Troubleshooting: Help identify and fix minor bugs, broken links, and layout inconsistencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Solid foundation in HTML5, CSS3, and a basic understanding of PHP.
- Familiarity with the WordPress and WooCommerce plugin.
- An understanding of the basic e-commerce customer journey (from product discovery to checkout).
- Strong attention to detail, especially when handling product data and pricing.
- Eagerness to learn about e-commerce security, SSL, and payment processing.
