Role Description
We are looking for a highly motivated QA Intern with a technical mindset. You will work alongside our engineering team to ensure the reliability and performance of scalable, cloud-native applications. This is a Paid Internship designed to fast-track your career into a Junior QA Automation Engineer role.
Key Responsibilities
▪️ API Testing: Perform thorough testing of RESTful APIs using tools like Postman to ensure backend reliability.
▪️ Automation Testing: Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium.
▪️ Programming: Apply basic knowledge of programming languages (Java or JavaScript) to understand codebase logic and write test scripts.
▪️ Test Reporting: Document test results, track defects, and generate professional Test Reports to ensure transparency.
▪️ Mobile App Testing: Perform cross-platform testing on mobile applications. (Mobile app testing knowledge is a major plus!)
▪️ Collaboration: Participate in agile sprints and code reviews to maintain high-quality delivery standards.
What We Are Looking For
▪️ Academic Level: 3rd or 4th-year university students or candidates with a minimum HND / Higher Diploma.
▪️ Technical Base: Fundamental understanding of the STLC, manual testing, and API testing concepts.
▪️ Code Proficiency: Basic programming skills in Java,or JavaScript.
▪️ Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to find "edge case" bugs.
▪️ The NITES Edge: Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N5 or above) is a significant advantage!
